Kayla is originally from a small town in Texas. She relocated to Colorado in 2018 after graduating from Lamar University with a Masters of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology. She is a Colorado and Texas licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, specializing in pediatrics. Kayla is subspecialized in early intervention, minimally verbal children, children with autism, AAC devices, and pragmatic language communication skills. Kayla has strong collaboration skills and enjoys working with a multidisciplinary approach. She regularly consults with OT, PT, ABA, and Psychology to ensure her patient's needs are being met holistically.
