Ms. Laura is originally from Manhattan, Kansas. She received her B.S. & M.S. degrees from Kansas State University in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Ms. Laura has extensive experience working in the public schools and is proficient and skilled at comprehensive assessments and testing batteries. Laura's life-long love of words brought her to the profession of Speech-Language Pathology, and she maintains passionate interest in child speech and language development, particularly revealing the underlying causes of delays and disorders. Her specific areas of specialty include assessment in speech-sound production and intelligibility, motor-speech disorders & apraxia, fluency/stuttering disorders, language development, and literacy.
