Ms. Bailey is originally from the small town of Pierce, Colorado. She graduated from UNC in 2020 with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology with a minor in Special Education. Ms. Bailey received her SLPA credential and began her career with a passion for working with children with autism spectrum disorder. She believes that each child is beautifully unique, and deserves the ability to communicate their wants and needs. She embraces how characteristics of ASD are as individualized as the person themselves. Ms. Bailey became interested in the field of Speech Therapy because she herself received services for speech-sound production when she was younger. Having been in that position, she is empathetic and compassionate to help children effectively communicate, whether it be through verbal communication, an AAC device, or anything in between.
