Ms. Ellie is originally from a small, two-road town, in south-east Texas. She received her Bachelor's of Science and Master's of Science degrees in Communication Disorders from Texas State University in San Marcos, and is licensed in both Texas and Colorado. Ms. Ellie relocated to Colorado with her husband, children, and 4 dogs to live out their dream of seeing mountains everyday. Ms. Ellie learned that her passions align working in a medical setting and serving children with functional communication deficits. She sub-specializes working with minimally verbal children, children with autism, and early intervention. Ms. Ellie is a strong evaluator and keen listener. She prides herself in using a family-centered approach, and understanding family needs and concerns. When she is not busy living the speech life, Ms. Ellie enjoys spending time with her family and four-legged children. She enjoys reading, drinking a good cup of coffee or iced tea, and breathing in the fresh mountain air.
