Tanesha grew up in a small town in Iowa and fell in love with Colorado after her very first visit. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Theatre from Carthage College in Kenosha Wisconsin in 2002. While completing her undergraduate degree Tanesha began working with an ABA organization providing services to children on the autism spectrum. She realized she had a passion for working with children and adults with special needs. She spent the next several years working with adults and children providing ABA therapy, respite, supported living and mental health case management services. Tanesha later decided to become a Speech Pathologist and received her Master of Arts Degree in Communication Disorders from San Jose State University in 2009. Tanesha has experience working with ages birth-21 providing education IEP based services, in home health care and clinic-based services both in person and via teletherapy. Tanesha believes her role as a Speech Pathologist is to focus on helping her clients build the skills they need to express themselves, meet their goals and strengthen their relationships with others. She uses a family centered approach when developing goals and providing support. As an SLPA supervisor Tanesha is excited to collaborate and assist the other amazing professionals at NoCo Speech and Diagnostics.
When she's not working Tanesha enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and hiking in the beautiful Rocky Mountains with her dog whenever she has the chance.
